While using before the built reverbs of my samplers i decided that was not enough any more, since i use different samplers like Kontakt and Sampletank3 so the reverbs are also different. Trying to get a more realistic sound i decided that I should use one Reverb for most of the Samples as it is recommended.
I tried my hands on a couple of freebies and also Valhalla Room and Valhalla Vintage Verb.
I recognized that the Valhalla ones are really just way better then anything free, though I couldn't get anything really that useful out of them. So I am hesitating which one I should buy for now, since I can't really judge there quality with my reverb tinkering skill, apart from some very generell judgements.
I fancy the hall sounds from Jeremy Soule Oblivion Ost and Guild Wars Ost. I also like the hall on this recording here.
I know the Room is more meant for realistic Halls, I can't really judge if what I want sounds that realistic though (apart from the Arvo Pärt recording).
Any recommendations?
